“Intergalactic Explosions” 8.5"x11" standing acrylic sandwiched transparency
This artwork/design concept is based on a 1500 square foot event space by the name of Junto Studio in Toronto that was transformed into an interstellar cosmic experience. Black Lotus Exhibition was a fusion of art and spirituality and showcased Black talent in an unconventional light through an immersive experience of tantric ritual and exhibition which culminates all art forms into an elevated sensory experience. The exhibition design itself was an installation and live performance art piece based on the intersection and exploration of multi-dimensional planes of 4 iridescent streamer screens hung from the ceiling to emulate the converging of perspectives imbuing a feeling of a mysterious portal opening into the unknown.
