I have led my own architectural practice for 4 years, designing and delivering residential and commercial projects across the greater Toronto area for unique clientele.  I am grateful to have received a global education during my undergraduate and graduate studies in architecture through study abroad programs that took me to places across the United States, London, UK, and Japan.

I am a licensed architect and certified to practice architecture in Ontario with over 18 years of experience in the architectural profession having designed and managed the construction of schools, libraries, high-end government and corporate office interiors, prominent retail stores and residential at all scales across Toronto at a variety of architectural practices including the award-winning firm G. Bruce Stratton Architects and Hanson + Jung Architects where I worked on projects such as renovations and additions for various Peel District School Board schools, a library competition for Toronto Public Library adjacent the Scarborough Civic Centre and Canada-wide Bell and Virgin Mobile flagship and corporate store tenant fit-ups and renovations.

I have had the honour to take part in design talks at universities such as Toronto Metropolitan University’s (TMU) panel on “Black Women in Architecture and Design” and delivered a curated keynote lecture on “Critical, Creative & Design Thinking” for the Ottawa-Carleton secondary school.  I was also a panelist in a talk led by former MPP of Beaches-East York - Dr. Rima Berns-McGown on “Building Anti-Racist Communities”.  I am also a visiting architectural guest critic at the University at Buffalo school of Architecture and Planning.

I took part in the Ontario Association of Architect’s (OAA) first ever panel discussion and report on Inclusion, Equity and Diversity as a discussion leader and contributor.  I was a juror, cultural curator and producer of public mural art installations by Black and Indigenous Artists at historical and institutional buildings such as University of Toronto’s “The Bridge” Library at the Instructional Centre in Scarborough undertaken by Artists Claire Browne & Elicser Elliot, as well as the Leuty Boathouse in the Beaches, Toronto conceived by Artists Jacquie Comrie & Chief Lady Bird, planning alongside fellow Beach residents - City Placemaker, Author and Architectural Journalist Lisa Rochon and Landscape Artist/Architect Ginetta Peters in conjunction with StreetARToronto (StART) and STEPS public art.

Most recently my renovation project at Boa Boutique was featured in the Beach Metro newspaper - an 18-year long-standing renowned Women’s fashion boutique on Queen Street east in the beaches.  In 2022 I completed an interior architectural renovation for Leslieville’s longest standing wellness clinic – Restore Integrative Health.

I value collaboration, kindness, diversity, accessibility, creativity, social responsibility, and excited to work with people and organizations that also share these values and goals.
